The photograph 'Drop' explores the subtle relationship between the site, subject, and reflection, drawing on sources such as landscape, literature and history. I created the work in collaboration with the filmmaker Istok Chapovski, on the bank of the river Seine, during my two-month residency at the Cité Internationale des arts in Paris, in 2022.

The intention of the photograph 'Flumen 1' is to connect with the island Île Saint Louis, using a string of printed, water-coloured, and embroidered pieces of fabric, sourced from the flea markets and antique shops in Paris and works created in my studio at the Cité. The work considers the history of the island from the 14th century when it was used mostly for grazing cattle, fishing, and drying laundry.

The photograph 'Sequence' derived from a site-specific performance on the island of Île Saint Louis, during my residency at the Cité Internationale des arts, Paris, in 2022. In this work, I explore the ideas of sequence and continuance. The inspiration for this work was the solid stone banks of Quai de Bourbon of the island, which provides a backdrop for the photograph, layered with the history and architecture of Île Saint Louis.
